There is also the risk that Biden wants to bizarrely show force, despite the ignominious retreat from Kabul, and will assert his newfound dominance in Kiev. It seems unwise to posture with Russia, which makes this scenario frighteningly more plausible. Since when does the Biden administration do what is sensible?
