2021 K-Drama Bingo: 30 K-Dramas That We Loved in 2021

Another year is ending once again, and with the pandemic still going on, this year has been spent mostly at home, staying safe and working remotely. For those who love to binge-watch shows and movies though, staying at home almost the entire year also meant having more time to catch up on the latest titles and binge-watch those that you may have missed in the past few months or, even, years.

One of the content people streamed the most this year are definitely K-dramas. While last year has been a time where people discovered the world of K-dramas, this year has been mostly about exploring all the new genres and stories that make K-dramas unique and addicting. And with streaming platforms like Netflix, iQiyi, and Viu carrying more K-dramas, fans have gained unlimited access to so many different titles, letting them find the dramas that fit their interests.

While so many interesting titles premiered this year, some of the most talked-about K-dramas this year are the dark comedy K-drama Vincenzo, the thrilling and action-packed Happiness, and, of course, the hit Netflix survival game series Squid Game. For those who’ve been looking for more kilig, some of the most popular and swoon-inducing dramas of the year include Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah’s Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, the historical drama The King’s Affection, and the fantasy-comedy My Roommate is a Gumiho.
