Hosted by the Municipality of Taytay under the leadership of Mayor Allan De Leon, and organized by the amazing team at LEDIPO Taytay, the Innovation Forum: The Future of Fashion Manufacturing brought together fashion pros, government experts, tech innovators, and business leaders—all under one roof at TESDA Taytay.

What Was It All About?

The big idea? "Sustainable, on-demand micro-factories." ????✨
Yes, that might sound high-tech (because it is!), but in simple terms—it means smarter, faster, and cleaner ways to make clothes that reduce waste, save money, and allow even small businesses to compete like fashion giants.

Taytay, known as the Garments Capital of the Philippines, is now eyeing the title of Innovation Capital too. ????

• Mr. Cleo Marco Duran (DTI PD) – Gave us a clear picture of how the gov’t is helping local businesses evolve with tech and training.
• Ms. Marissa C. Argentina (DTI-IVA) – Her message? “You belong in the future of fashion!” She inspired everyone to think big and go bold.
• Ms. Raquel R. Malig (DTI Region 3) & Ms. Zaila F. Payag (PERO DOST) – These science and industry pros talked about tech you can use NOW. Think fabric innovation, product testing, and tools for small factories.
• Mr. Andrea Negretti, an international textile expert, wowed the crowd with global trends and how we can apply them here in Taytay.
